CM Mann, Kejriwal to Attend Hansraj Raghuvanshi’s Religious Event at Jalandhar as Devotees: Deepak Bali

In a major announcement today, Punjab Horticulture and Defense Services Welfare Minister Mohinder Bhagat, along with Advisor to the Punjab Tourism and Cultural Affairs Department Deepak Bali, declared that Jalandhar will host a mega religious event dedicated to Lord Shiva on the evening of June 13.

The grand event, titled “Ek Shaam Bhagwan Shiv Ke Naam,” will feature renowned spiritual singer Hansraj Raghuvanshi, who will perform his famous bhajans to connect thousands of devotees with the divine.

Addressing a press conference along with Mayor Vineet Dhir, Chairman Punjab Safai Karamchari Commission Chandan Grewal, President Sanatan Sewa Samiti Vijay Sharma, Chairman Jalandhar Improvement Trust Ramneek Singh Randhawa, Rajwinder Kaur Thiara, The Minister and the Advisor emphasized that this is the first time an event of such massive scale is being organized in the city.

The venue for this historic gathering will be the Sai Das School Grounds, with the spiritual evening scheduled to commence at 6:30 PM.

They further stated that the Punjab Government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, will leave no stone unturned to facilitate the organizers and ensure seamless arrangements for the devotees. They also said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal will also participate in the event as humble devotees.

They described the event as a unique confluence of faith, devotion and cultural heritage that is expected to attract thousands of devotees from Jalandhar and neighboring districts. President Sanatan Sewa Samiti Vijay Sharma said that the event would further strengthen Punjab’s rich spiritual and cultural traditions while promoting communal harmony and social unity.

The also said that while the Punjab government is actively managing and supporting the arrangements, the event is fundamentally driven by local temple committees, saint-mahants, and the people of Jalandhar themselves. The initiative aims to foster communal harmony, peace, and spiritual well-being across the region.

They also urged the residents of Jalandhar and neighboring areas to participate in large numbers to seek blessings on this auspicious evening.
