Indore road accident: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh’s nephew died, hit by a speeding bus, body airlifted to Delhi

Indore. Prabhat Singh (29), nephew of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, died in a horrific road accident that took place late Thursday night in Indore district of Madhya Pradesh. This accident happened in Shipra police station area at around 11 pm when he was returning from Dewas to Indore.

According to the information, Prabhat Singh was a resident of Gaighat village in Revati area of ​​Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh. He had come to Dewas with three of his acquaintances on personal work and was returning to Indore by car late at night.

The accident happened while standing on the roadside-
According to the police, he had stopped the vehicle on the roadside for some work near Shipra area. Meanwhile, when he was returning towards the car again, a bus coming at high speed hit him hard. The collision was so severe that he fell several feet away and was seriously injured.

With the help of colleagues and local people, he was immediately taken to Aurobindo Hospital in Indore, where doctors declared him dead.

The mortal remains were sent by airlift-
As soon as information about the accident was received, a wave of mourning ran among the family and administration. The post-mortem was conducted early on Friday with special permission and in the morning his body was airlifted by a special plane and sent to Delhi. From there he will be taken to Uttar Pradesh for the last rites.

Nephew of Rajnath Singh in relation-
According to the police, Prabhat Singh’s father Pradeep Singh is related to the family of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. Considering the sensitivity of the incident, the administration immediately completed all the necessary formalities.

Leaders and officials reached the hospital-
As soon as information about the accident was received, many public representatives and BJP officials reached Aurobindo Hospital in Indore late in the night. District administration and police officials also reached the spot and monitored the situation.

Bus driver absconding, investigation continues-
After the accident, the bus driver fled from the spot along with the vehicle. Shipra police station has registered the case and started investigation. Police are scanning the CCTV footage installed nearby and efforts are being made to identify the bus.

Officials have said that the accused driver will be arrested soon and a detailed investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
