Recently, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has announced to launch the new website of IRCTC in the next 30 days i.e. by 15th July. In this new website you will get more secure and easier booking than before.

Why is IRCTC website slow?

Many reasons are considered responsible for the IRCTC website being slow. If seen, due to increasing demand during festivals and holidays, the process of ticket booking speeds up, due to which the server of this website gets down or the website becomes slow. In fact, sometimes due to real-time data processing and pressure on payment gateways, this website becomes more burdened. Along with the security verification process, in some cases also due to technical maintenance and system upgrades, the IRCTC website remains slow.

What kind of problems arise?

If seen, earlier people used to face difficulty in filling the captcha in the old website of IRCTC. Due to difficult captcha, many people used to enter wrong captcha, due to which people were not able to book tickets. Apart from this, many times people tried to book Tatkal tickets together, due to which the traffic on the website increased and Tatkal tickets were not available. Many times it used to happen that while booking the ticket, money was deducted, but the ticket could not be booked. People had to face such problems. Many people complain that while booking train tickets on IRCTC, they have to face many technical problems.

If media reports are to be believed, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav met some students during his visit to Jaipur. During this, they were informed about the slow captcha system on the website and technical problems occurring during booking. In view of this, the Railway Minister took immediate action and ordered to create a new website. It is believed that this decision has been taken after the complaint and suggestion of the student. However, now with the launch of the new website, the difficulties people face in booking train tickets will be reduced.

New website will be launched

According to media reports, some things will be different and special in the new website of IRCTC as compared to earlier. According to the information given by Ashwini Vaishnav, the new website of IRCTC will be more user friendly and faster than before. Apart from this, the process of booking tickets will now be smoother and easier than before. Through this new website, passengers will now have to face less problems than before while booking tickets online. Now the officials will have to create and launch a new website within 30 days.
