No ban on release of ‘Black Deer’ film, court issues notice to makers, next hearing on June 19

New Delhi. Delhi High Court on Friday heard a petition by Bollywood actor Salman Khan. In this petition, a demand was made to ban the release and promotion of the film ‘Black Deer: The Battle for Legacy’. Salman Khan alleges that this film violates his personality rights and damages his reputation.

Regarding the release of the film, Salman’s lawyer says, ‘No date for its release has been decided yet. We want this entire project to be stopped. After hearing the arguments of Salman Khan’s lawyer, Delhi High Court said that it is necessary to first issue notice to the opposition party. That means no order can be given right now without listening to them. On Salman Khan’s petition, Delhi High Court has issued notice to the film’s producer Amit Jani and others and sought their reply in the matter. Also, the next hearing date of the case has been fixed by Delhi High Court as June 19.
