Suicide Attempt Rescue: A case of police bravery has come to light from Surat, Gujarat, which is being discussed extensively on social media. Here a police constable risked his life and saved the life of a young man by reaching a closed flat located on the seventh floor.

It was told that on June 8, a woman had informed the police control room that her husband had consumed poisonous substance and was trying to commit suicide. As soon as the information was received, Dial-112 team, fire brigade and ambulance of Laskana police station were sent to the spot.

The police team that reached the spot found that the flat was locked from inside and it was not possible to enter through the main door. Considering the criticality of the time, police constable Shailesh Chudasama and driver Kripal Singh Gohil planned to reach inside through the neighboring flat.

After this, Shailesh Chudasama climbed the outer grill of the seventh floor and entered the flat through the window. On reaching inside, they controlled the young man and removed the remaining poisonous substance from him. However, the young man had consumed some amount of poison and his condition was deteriorating.
