This year’s special sweet mouth, feed mango pies to the son-in-law, do you know the recipe?
The mood of celebration is now in Bengali homes after the heat of old age has passed. The son-in-law is knocking on the door. On the morning of the sixth day, there will be a royal arrangement of hilsa-shrimp or minced meat at the father-in-law’s house. But if there is no surprise at the end of the feast, is it complete? It is impossible to finish the Bengali festival without Mishti Mukh. Instead of standing in a long queue at the sweet shop, now you can win your son-in-law’s heart with homemade royal mango pies. The aroma of mangoes and the juxtaposition of milk will make Shashti’s afternoon sweeter. Here is a simple yet mouth-watering recipe.
Necessary Materials
Ripe Mangoes: 2 (sweet and pulpless)
Milk: 2 cups
Powdered milk: 4 tsp
Sugar: 1/3 cup
Sesame: 1 tsp
Cashew Nut Powder: 3 nuts

Cooking method
First, wash the ripe mango well and peel it. Peel the mango and cut it into small pieces. Now put the pieces in a blender to make a smooth pulp or decoction and keep it aside.
Then pour the liquid milk into a heavy pot and place it on medium heat. The milk should be boiled well and thickened a little. When the milk boils, add the prepared mango pulp to it. Reduce heat to low and stir constantly to prevent sticking.
After boiling like this for ten minutes, add powdered milk and semolina to the mixture. Adding semolina will give a nice thick texture to the pies. Mix all the ingredients together well. Add sugar when the mixture becomes quite thick. Stir some more until the sugar melts and mixes with the milk.
Finally sprinkle cashew powder on top. When the pie thickens, take it off the heat. Bring to normal room temperature and keep the container in the refrigerator. Serve chilled mango pies on the son-in-law’s page on the son-in-law’s afternoon. This heavenly taste of mangoes will delight father-in-law and father-in-law.
