What was the rule earlier?
- According to the old rule, there should have been such a system at the toll plaza that even during peak hours, it should not take more than 10 seconds to collect toll from a vehicle.
- Apart from this, if the queue of vehicles in any lane became more than 100 meters long, there was a provision to open the barrier of that lane so that the traffic jam could be reduced.
- However, now this facility has been completely abolished and all vehicles will have to pay the prescribed toll payment.
