Will Pavaranchi merge with Nationalist Congress? Discussion on Supriya Sulencha full stop; Said- Sharad Pawar has no proposal before him.

For the last few days, there were discussions in the political circles of the state about the possibility of the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar group) under the leadership of Sharad Pawar merging with the Congress. As soon as Congress had given such a proposal, claims would have been raised at various levels. MP Supriya Sule has given a full stop to the entire discussion by giving a clearly worded response.

Supriya Sule said that there was no discussion regarding the merger of Nationalist Congress at any level. MLA, MP or any other party leader has not contacted Congress. Also there is no intention of making any contact with us.

He made it clear that the discussion on merger had not yet started and it was not the imagination of anyone who started it. Sule emphatically said that Sharad Pawar had no official proposal and he had not given such a proposal to anyone.

At this time he commented on the discussion about the possible merger of Trinamool Congress. While stating that he did not have any information regarding the meeting held between Mamata Banerjee and Sonia Gandhi, he stated that he only knew what was discussed in that meeting.

Speaking about the current political and economic situation in the country, Supriya Sule criticized the central government. He said that serious issues like inflation, unemployment, corruption and paperwork are facing the country. In such a situation, instead of fighting with each other, the political parties should solve the national issues, he expressed his opinion.

“The economic, social and political situation of the country is worrying. Today, there is more need to save the country than to do politics,” she also said.

Meanwhile, in view of the Legislative Council elections, when the political atmosphere in the state was heated, the discussion about the merger of the Nationalist Congress would have gained momentum. It is only because of the clear stand of Supriya Sule that the discussions are considered to have come to a complete halt for the time being.
