Govindpuri fire incident was not an accident but a conspiracy, 17 year old girl revealed the whole secret; Tell who set the fire and why?

A shocking revelation has come to light during the investigation into the massive fire incident that took place on the night of June 12 in Govindpuri, Delhi. The incident which was initially considered a mere accident, has now come to light as a well-planned criminal conspiracy. Intensive investigation by the police and analysis of CCTV footage changed the direction of the entire case.

Three people lost their lives in this tragic accident, while many others were seriously injured. Now the police has revealed that the fire was started deliberately. Four people including a minor girl have been arrested in the case and action is being taken under several serious sections.

How did CCTV footage turn the investigation?

After the incident, the police registered a case under sections related to death by negligence and fire and started investigation. In the initial investigation it was considered an accident. But CCTV footage showed a woman entering the building before the fire. After this clue, the police decided to get to the bottom of the matter and expanded the scope of investigation.

What did the 17 year old girl say?

During the investigation, the police came to know that a 17-year-old minor girl resident of Navjeevan Camp, Govindpuri was involved in this entire incident. During interrogation, the minor told that he was instigated to set fire and necessary materials were also provided for it.

Who asked to set fire?

According to the police, 27-year-old Sarita, a resident of Girinagar, had provided petrol and matchsticks to the minor. As per the plan, the intention was to set fire to the scooter of Deepak, who lived on the fifth floor. There was allegedly a dispute going on between the two parties regarding money and this step was taken due to that rivalry.

The target of the accused was only a scooter, but the fire took a huge form in no time. Within a few minutes the entire building was filled with smoke and flames. As a result many families were affected and three people lost their lives.

Who was behind the conspiracy?

During further interrogation, Sarita revealed that Niranjan, resident of Navjeevan Camp, and his brother Rajkumar were also behind this entire conspiracy. Police say that both of them had allegedly planned the arson to avenge an old personal dispute.

The police have caught the minor girl, Sarita, Niranjan and Rajkumar. At present, the investigating agencies are trying to find out whether any other person was also involved in this conspiracy or not. Besides, digital and forensic evidence is also being examined.
