Uttar Pradesh: AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi addressed a public meeting in Bahraich, cornered the government on the encounter issue, read the news.

Assembly elections are to be held in Uttar Pradesh in the year 2027, for which political parties have already started preparations. Meanwhile, now Hyderabad MP and All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen supremo Asaduddin Owaisi has also geared up for the UP elections. On Sunday, Owaisi reached Uttar Pradesh tour. Where he sounded the election bugle from Matera assembly of Bahraich.

Asaduddin Owaisi addressed a huge public meeting organized in Matera and attacked the policies of Yogi government. During this, Owaisi said about Matera that Matera is not the property of one family. The people of the area now want change. Owaisi said that for the last 25 years, the same family has been influencing the politics of the area, but the voice of common Muslims and weaker sections could not reach the Assembly.

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi appealed to the people of Matera region to send party state president Shaukat Ali to the assembly by making them MLA in the 2027 assembly elections. He said that with Shaukat Ali becoming MLA, the problems of Matera and Bahraich region and the voice of the people will be raised strongly in the Assembly. Along with this, Owaisi called for political change in the state and appealed to the people to support AIMIM.

Asaduddin Owaisi cornered the government on the encounter issue in UP. He said that according to media reports, a large number of encounter incidents have come to light in Uttar Pradesh. He claims that many innocent people have also faced problems during these actions. He said that the Indian Constitution does not permit discrimination on the basis of any religion, caste or class and the rule of law should apply equally to all citizens.

Owaisi said that in a democracy, justice, equal opportunity and equality before law is the constitutional right of every citizen. He alleged that the problems of the deprived, backward and minority sections are not getting adequate representation, due to which their voice is not raised effectively.

AIMIM offered alliance to BSP

Before the visit of AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi to UP, on June 12, the party’s state president Shaukat Ali had offered an alliance to Mayawati’s Bahujan Samaj Party for the 2027 assembly elections. Shaukat Ali had said that AIMIM wants to fight together with BSP in the upcoming assembly elections. He said, if this alliance is formed then on its strength both Bharatiya Janata Party and Samajwadi Party can be given a tough challenge.
