Sagar Taekwondo Championship Gold Cup: Sagar of Madhya Pradesh has once again shown his strength in the sports field. Sagar players performed brilliantly and won 9 gold, 8 silver and 9 bronze medals in the Madhya Pradesh Taekwondo Championship. The special thing is that Sagar has maintained its dominance by winning the Gold Cup for the third consecutive year. Due to this achievement of the players, there is an atmosphere of happiness in the entire district and enthusiasm is being seen among the sports lovers.

This state level competition, which lasted for three days, was organized at Sagar Saroj Marriage Garden located in Dhamshree, Sagar. About 560 players from 32 districts of Madhya Pradesh participated in this championship. Players of junior and senior category demonstrated their strength in the competition. During the event, special arrangements were made for accommodation, food and other necessary facilities for the players, so that they could participate in the competition with full energy and enthusiasm.

Sagar hosted the Gold Cup for the third consecutive time

District Taekwondo Association President Yogesh Jain said that Sagar has got the hosting of this prestigious Gold Cup State Championship for the third consecutive year. Players from Pre-Sub Junior, Sub Junior, Junior and Senior categories participated in the competition. The most special thing was that in the open fresher category, young players aged four to six years also showed their talent. The enthusiasm and sporting skills of the small children won the hearts of the audience.

Sagar won 9 gold, 8 silver and 9 bronze medals

The players of Sagar district performed brilliantly from the beginning. In match after match, the players gave a tough challenge to their rivals and registered spectacular victories in many matches. In the end, Sagar’s team once again proved that they have no competition in the field of Taekwondo by winning a total of 26 medals. With 9 gold, 8 silver and 9 bronze medals, Sagar won the Gold Cup for the third consecutive time. Coaches, parents and sports lovers congratulated the players on their achievement.

District Taekwondo Association said a big thing

Officials of the District Taekwondo Association said that the main objective of such an event is to hone the talent of small players and give them an opportunity to reach the big stage. Association President Yogesh Jain, Vice President Deepak Jain and District Secretary Arjun Rawat played an important role in making the competition successful. He said that there is no dearth of talent in Sagar, the only need is to give them the right platform and better opportunities.
