Bollywood actor Vedang Raina has been receiving widespread praise for his portrayal of Keenu in Main Vaapas Aaunga, which also features Naseeruddin Shah, Diljit Dosanjh, and Sharvari in pivotal roles. The romantic drama, set against the backdrop of Partition and directed by Imtiaz Ali, has garnered glowing reviews since its theatrical release on Friday. As Vedang celebrates the arrival of his third film, he took to social media to share a series of behind-the-scenes stills from the shoot. Accompanying the pictures, the actor penned an emotional note expressing heartfelt gratitude to the cast, crew, and audiences.

What Vedang Raina mentioned in his Post

In one photo, Vedang appeared in character as a student, sporting a turban and carrying a bag. Another captured him alongside Sharvari. He also shared a frame with Naseeruddin Shah, with both portraying the same character at different stages of life. Introducing the post, Vedang wrote in the caption, “I came home one day after an audition (I was 19) and told my parents that acting is what makes me feel the most alive. I didn’t expect to say that and I was as surprised as they were. It’s now been 2 and a half years since I came into this industry that’s given me everything and my gut feeling was right.”

He further wrote, “Maybe it’s too early to say but Main Vaapas Aaunga is a film that’s changed everything for me. What I’ve learned, how I’ve grown as an artist and more importantly as a human being is not something I can quantify with an Instagram caption. @imtiazaliofficial thank you for taking me on this journey and letting me be your Keenu.
