Ranchi: A case of attempt to target the office of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has come to light in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. Let us tell you, two unidentified youths have allegedly tried to throw petrol bombs at the Sangh office in Nivaranpur late on Tuesday night. However, his plan could not succeed and a major accident was avoided.
How did the incident happen?
According to the police, the attackers had filled glass bottles of chilli sauce with petrol and thrown them towards the office premises. But both the bottles fell outside the office boundary. During this time, the burning twine attached to the first petrol bomb fell on the ground, due to which the fire could not spread. The second bomb fell outside before reaching the office premises, due to which there was no damage.

Investigation into the incident started
As soon as information about the incident was received, the police and administration team reached the spot and started investigation. In the initial investigation the matter appears to be well planned. The footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby is being scrutinized, in which two suspicious youths have been seen near the spot. Police are intensifying efforts to identify and arrest them.
Considering the seriousness of the matter, the team of Forensic Science Lab (FSL) has also been included in the investigation. Officials say that all aspects related to the incident are being investigated closely and the accused are expected to be arrested soon.
Complaint filed against hotel
Meanwhile, the investigation has also revealed the angle of a local dispute. According to sources, there was a situation of tension for some time between a hotel located near the RSS office and people associated with the office. It is being told that a complaint was made against the hotel regarding cleanliness and other issues. Police are also investigating this possible reason, although it has not been officially confirmed yet.
After getting information about the incident, many public representatives including BJP leader Babulal Marandi reached the spot and expressed concern over law and order, demanding a fair investigation into the case and immediate arrest of the culprits. At present SIT is busy investigating the case.
