According to the latest forecast of the Indian Meteorological Department, a new phase of rain is going to start in many states of North and Central India. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains with strong winds in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh within the next two to five days.
How will the weather be in Delhi-NCR today?
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert in the capital Delhi and its surrounding areas. The sky will be partly cloudy in Delhi and light to moderate rain may be recorded in many parts. Along with this, there is also a possibility of sudden dust storm and strong winds during afternoon or night. This trend of sporadic rain is expected to continue in Haryana, Delhi and Chandigarh. Due to which the temperature will drop and people will get relief from the humid heat.
Storm rages at speed of 80 km in Rajasthan
The Meteorological Department has issued a very strict alert for Rajasthan. Thunderstorm, lightning and extremely strong winds are expected in eastern and western Rajasthan. There has been a warning of strong dust storm in western Rajasthan. Where the wind speed can reach 80 kilometers per hour. During this time, people have been advised to remain alert and not to come out of their homes in bad weather.
Condition of UP, Punjab and hill states
Talking about the weather of Uttar Pradesh, there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers on different dates in the districts of Western and Eastern UP. The weather will remain bad in the hilly states also. Heavy rainfall is expected in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. The most serious warning is for Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh and Gilgit-Baltistan regions, where along with heavy rains, hailstorm has also been issued at some places.
Lightning warning in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh
Pre-monsoon and local weather systems are also active in the states of Central India. There are chances of widespread rain with thunderstorms, lightning and lightning in Western and Eastern Madhya Pradesh as well as Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra.
