• The deceased have been identified as Bharat Singh Geharwar alias Lalla Singh, Nagendra Singh and Virendra Pratap Singh. Lalla Singh is said to be a politically influential person in the area. It has come to light that he is associated with BJP.
• According to the police, there was a dispute going on between the Singh and Thakur factions in the area for the last few months regarding sand business. Even before the incident, tension had increased between the two parties and the same dispute took a violent turn.
• According to eyewitnesses, some people managed to get out of the burning SUV by breaking the glass, but as soon as they came out, they were attacked again. Some were attacked with sharp weapons and others were brutally beaten.
• However, the police is still verifying all the claims. Police are also investigating from this angle whether the victims were called on the pretext of agreement. Additional Superintendent of Police Umesh Kashyap said that in the initial investigation, the incident of night has come to light after a dispute that took place during the day.
• The burnt body of the Fortuner, vehicle parts scattered on the road, broken glass and blood stains showed the horror of the attack. The forensic team is collecting evidence from the spot to find out whether the vehicle was burnt intentionally or the fire broke out after the collision.
• In this case, the police have arrested four accused, while the search for three others is going on. Many police teams are busy arresting the accused.
