PM Modi visit to France: Prime Minister arrives in Paris after G-7 summit, will address the Indian community
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached France’s capital Paris in the next phase of his six-day foreign trip. Earlier he participated in the G-7 summit held in Evian city. On reaching Paris, the Indian expatriates living there gave the Prime Minister a grand and warm welcome.
Overwhelmed by this wonderful welcome, PM Modi shared his happiness on social media. He wrote, “The warmth with which the Indian diaspora welcomed me upon my arrival in Paris won my heart. The contribution of our diaspora in strengthening the mutual relations between India and France is commendable. This India-France strategic partnership is very important for global progress and welfare.”

Many important programs of Prime Minister Modi are scheduled in Paris today. In this, PM Modi will discuss with leading French industrialists to promote economic and trade relations. The Prime Minister will attend this special event along with President Emmanuel Macron and address the people present there. Late in the evening, just before returning back to India, PM Modi will address a large gathering of Indian expatriates living there.
It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Modi had left for a six-day tour of France and Slovakia on June 13, which will conclude today with various bilateral programs in Paris.
