5-day program on President Draupadi Murmu’s visit to Madhya Pradesh from today, grand welcome in Indore
Knews Desk- President Draupadi Murmu is on a five-day Madhya Pradesh tour from today. During this time, she will participate in many important programs organized in different districts of the state. The administration has made extensive preparations for his visit, while strict security arrangements have also been made.
President Murmu arrived in Indore on 18 June. Many senior leaders and officials including Governor Mangubhai Patel and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav gave him a grand welcome at Devi Ahilyabai Holkar International Airport. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav cordially congratulated the President by presenting him a bouquet and welcomed him on behalf of the state. On this occasion, he also shared a welcome message on social media, in which he described the President’s arrival in the land of culture, tradition and values of Madhya Pradesh as a matter of pride.
After the formal welcome at the airport, President Draupadi Murmu left for her scheduled programs in a special helicopter of the Air Force. In view of his arrival, security arrangements have been tightened in the entire area and the administration is maintaining constant vigil. During the five-day visit of the President, she will participate in many important programs of Madhya Pradesh. On June 19, she will participate in the International Sickle Cell Day program organized in Omkareshwar. The event aims to raise awareness of sickle cell disease and accelerate ongoing efforts to eradicate it.
After this, the President will reach Jabalpur on June 20, where many of her programs are scheduled. On June 21, she will participate in the state level program organized on the occasion of International Yoga Day. On this day, a special event will be organized on the importance of Yoga and its global impact, in which a large number of people will participate. On the same day, President Draupadi Murmu will also attend the 36th convocation of Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur. During this time, she will award degrees to meritorious students and motivate those who have excelled in the field of education.
On June 22, the President will visit Kuno National Park, where she will learn about the efforts related to wildlife conservation. After this she will reach Gwalior and from there she will leave for New Delhi. This visit of the President is being considered very important for Madhya Pradesh, because it includes topics like health, education, yoga and environmental protection. The administration believes that this visit will provide new direction and momentum to various developmental and social schemes running in the state.
