Weather patterns are changing across the country. Monsoon has arrived in some states while the heat wave is still raging in some states. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert in 11 states today i.e. on June 19. Along with this, there is also a possibility of strong winds. More than half of the month of June has passed but the monsoon is still stuck at one place. Regarding this also, questions are arising in the minds of people that when will the monsoon come and when will it gain momentum.
The rainy season has started in many states. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert of thunderstorm and storm in 11 states. The states where the Meteorological Department has issued weather warnings include many states including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department has predicted winds at a speed of 80 kilometers per hour within the next few hours and has advised people to remain alert. There is a warning of thunderstorm with heavy rain in the next 4-5 days and there is a possibility of damage due to it.

When will monsoon come?
Monsoon has been stuck at one place for the last few days, but the monsoon is going to gain momentum in the next few days. According to the Meteorological Department, the south-west monsoon will gain momentum within the next 4-5 days. Monsoon has so far reached large parts of South and Eastern India and has also entered Odisha and Andhra Pradesh, but since then the pace has slowed down. However, now conditions are being created for the monsoon to advance further. In such a situation, it is estimated that monsoon may reach many states of North India between 20th and 25th June. Monsoon may arrive in UP by June 25 and in Delhi by June 25-30.
In which states will it rain?
The Meteorological Department has today issued a rain alert in 11 states of the country. The 11 states where there will be rain include Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Odisha. Along with this, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura between June 19 and 24 in North-East India. Very heavy rains have been predicted in Assam and Meghalaya from June 19 to 22. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has also expressed the possibility of strong winds and storms.

On one hand, rain alert has been issued in many states, which has brought relief to the people. On the other hand, the scorching heat is still wreaking havoc in many states. The Meteorological Department has issued heat wave alert in many states. The states which will see the havoc of heat today include Bihar, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, some parts of Uttar Pradesh, Central Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana and Vidarbha.

How will the weather be in the mountains?
If we talk about the hilly states of the country, there is a possibility of seeing a mixed effect of weather here too. There is a possibility of rain and thundershowers in Dehradun, Tehri and Nainital districts of Uttarakhand. Along with this, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh today. Along with this, the possibility of snowfall in some high altitude areas has also been expressed. Along with this, strong winds may also be seen in the state in the next few days.
Rain alert has been issued at many places in Himachal Pradesh today. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of torrential rain in Kullu, Mandi and Shimla districts today. The Meteorological Department has also issued an alert regarding this. Yellow alert has been issued in Chamba district and Kangra district. There is also a possibility of hailstorm and thunderstorm in the next few days.
Talking about Jammu and Kashmir, mixed weather will be seen here also. There is an alert of rain with thunder and lightning in many districts including Rajouri, Pulwama, Poonch and Kupwara. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert and the possibility of snowfall at some high altitude places has also been expressed.
