Saudi Weather Alert: Rain alert in 4 areas of Saudi Arabia, Meteorological Department issued warning

Rain warning has been issued in four major areas of Saudi Arabia. National Center of Meteorology (Meteorological Department) said that the weather may remain bad in the hilly areas, due to which common people and travelers may face problems.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in the mountainous areas of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Jazan, Asir and Al-Baha. ‘Yellow’ and ‘Orange’ warning levels have been issued for these areas, which will remain in effect till 9:00 pm on Friday.

Along with rain, there is also a possibility of storm with lightning and thunder in these areas. Earlier, the department had also told that due to strong winds, dust will blow, due to which the road will not be clearly visible and visibility will be reduced.

The government department has advised the general public and migrants to exercise caution. Especially the drivers have been asked to remain alert so that any kind of accident can be avoided. People have been instructed to constantly keep an eye on official updates.
