Oppo Reno 16c: Oppo is preparing to launch its new Reno 16 series in select global markets next month. According to the latest reports, the company can also introduce an additional model ‘Oppo Reno 16c’ under this series in India.
According to information quoted by tipster Yogesh Brar, there are plans to launch both Reno 16 and Reno 16c smartphones in India. He claimed that the smartphones can be launched in India as early as July.

Entry as an affordable option
This strategy of Oppo looks similar to the Reno 15 series. In January last year, Reno 15c was launched in India as the most affordable model, with a larger display but some features were changed to keep the price low. Reno 16c is also being seen as a budget-friendly alternative to the Reno 16 series.
Oppo Reno 16c: possible specifications
According to reports, the features of Reno 16c may be similar to Reno 16F to be launched in Indonesia and Malaysia. If this happens, the phone may get a 6.57-inch Full HD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, which will be larger than the 6.32-inch panel of the Reno 16.
Performance and camera setup
For performance, it is likely to be provided with MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset along with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
Talking about the camera setup, a triple camera system can be found in its rear, which may include a 50MP main OIS camera, a 50MP telephoto lens (with 3.5x zoom) and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. It is likely to have a 50MP front camera for selfies.
