Ram Temple donation theft case: Saints welcomed CM Yogi’s SIT investigation!

The Sant Samaj of Ayodhya has welcomed the decision of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to constitute a Special Investigation Team (SIT) amid the controversy over offerings and alleged financial irregularities in the Ayodhya Ram temple. The saints say that one should avoid spreading any kind of rumors and misconceptions until the investigation is completed and anyone who has any evidence should provide it to the investigating agency. Sant Varun Das Maharaj also demanded the involvement of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the investigation of this case.

Mahant Sitaram Das of Saket Bhawan temple praised the decision of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and said that the government has taken the entire matter seriously and has formed the SIT to ensure a fair investigation. He said, “I wholeheartedly thank Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He has constituted the SIT and said that we should wait for 15 days. All parties should allow the investigation process to be completed without any interference. If anyone has any proof or evidence then they should hand it over to the SIT.”

Mahant Sitaram Das said that no attempt should be made to spread confusion before the investigation is completed. He alleged that some people have been raising questions about Ram temple and Sanatan traditions earlier also and are now trying to spread confusion regarding this matter. Those who earlier described Ram as imaginary, raised questions on the existence of Ram Setu and sought proof of the existence of Lord Ram, the same people are today working to share knowledge. Sanatani society will not be misled by such people.”

Mahant expressed confidence that the SIT formed under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will conduct an impartial investigation and bring out the truth. He said that if any kind of conspiracy is hatched and an attempt is made to play with people’s faith, the Sant Samaj will not tolerate it.

He said that whoever has any evidence should give it to the SIT. Whoever is found guilty in the investigation, Chief Minister Yogi and his administration will definitely take strict action against him.

Arya Sant Varun Das Maharaj also welcomed the step of Chief Minister Yogi and called it an important decision taken at the right time. He said that formation of SIT has opened the way for impartial investigation of the entire matter and if sufficient evidence comes to light then action against the culprits will be possible.

He said that this is a very good initiative. If the investigation team finds evidence, it will strengthen the investigation. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has shown the ability to take quick decisions by forming SIT. Varun Das Maharaj said that the matter is related to money and offerings, hence to make the investigation more effective, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) should also be involved so that the economic aspects can also be thoroughly investigated.

Arya Sant Varun Das Maharaj further said that the news of any kind of financial dispute related to Ram Janmabhoomi is going to pain the Ram devotees. He said that if there has been any incident of misuse of offerings or money then its entire truth should be revealed.

He said that the controversy that has arisen regarding offerings at Ram Janmabhoomi has mentally distressed Ram devotees, senior saints, workers and devotees. He suggested that senior saints, senior citizens and servants should also be included in the management and monitoring mechanism related to Ram Janmabhoomi, so that transparency and accountability is maintained.

Varun Das Maharaj also said that after the entire controversy came to light, till now no clear response has come from the Treasurer of the Trust, due to which many questions are being raised. He said that if any irregularity has happened then it should be exposed and if nothing like this has happened then a clear explanation should also come out.
