US President Donald Trump has officially included the luxury Boeing 747-8 aircraft, gifted by the royal family of Qatar, into the US President’s aircraft fleet. The US Air Force has named this special aircraft VC-25B Bridge, which will now be used for the official visits of the President.

Trump unveiled this aircraft during a program organized in a huge hangar located in Maryland. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, high-end security systems and luxurious interior, this aircraft is now being seen as the new presidential identity of America.

1. This Boeing 747-8 aircraft was originally owned by the royal family of Qatar. Later it was given as a gift to America. However, before being used as the US President’s aircraft, it was prepared in accordance with many safety and technical standards.

2. The US Air Force has named this aircraft VC-25B Bridge. This aircraft will now be used in the official visits of the President and has become a part of the existing Air Force One fleet.

3. During the unveiling of the aircraft, President Trump praised it a lot. He said, “This plane will be a kind of luxury and flying White House. No one would have ever seen such a plane before.”

4. Till now, the iconic ‘robin egg blue’ and silver colors were prominent in the planes used by the US President, but the entire concept of colors has been changed in the new VC-25B Bridge. As per Trump’s choice, the plane has been given a navy blue, red and white color theme. The lower part of the aircraft has been painted dark blue, while a bright strip has been added to the upper part.

5. The aircraft has been completely modified to suit the security and working style of the US President. Its interior, communication system, security equipment and other facilities have been equipped with modern technology. The official Presidential seal is also installed near the President’s boarding area on the plane, while the American one is on the rear.

6. America has invested heavily to provide presidential level security to the aircraft received from Qatar. According to reports, about $ 400 million i.e. approximately Rs 3,300 crore has been spent in preparing the aircraft as per military and security standards. Only after this did it get approval for the President’s visit.
