Anil Kapoor’s darling got a big shock of crores of rupees, jewelery studded with diamonds and emeralds was stolen, case registered.

Rhea Kapoor Diamond Earrings Stolen: Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor’s younger daughter, filmmaker and fashion stylist Rhea Anil Kapoor’s rented jewelery is reported to have been stolen. He has filed a case against unknown people at Sahar Police Station in Mumbai. Police have registered a case against unknown accused under section 303(2) of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) under crime number 544/2026.

According to a police complaint, diamond studded earrings worth ₹1.35 crore were stolen from the handbag of Rhea Kapoor’s makeup artist while she was going for a fashion show in New York. The earrings were rented from Mehta & Goenka Jewelers in Mumbai. Mumbai’s famous makeup artist Savleen Singh has been working with Rhea Anil Kapoor for the last seven years. Rhea Kapoor was invited to the Met Gala fashion show in New York on April 29, and her entire team accompanied her.

Earrings rented from two jewelers

For Rhea Kapoor and her makeup team, two pairs of expensive earrings were rented from Mehta Jewelers and Goenka Jewelers in Mumbai. Savleen Singh kept both the boxes in her handbag. All the participants left Mumbai on 27th April at 10:25 pm by Emirates flight.

The team left from Mumbai for Dubai at 5:30 pm on 28th April and then from Dubai for Kennedy Airport in New York. From there, everyone went to their rooms at the Hotel Pier New York.

Savleen was stunned after opening the box in the hotel

When Savleen Singh opened the box to give the earrings to Shireen, both were empty. Emerald stone diamond gold earrings from Mehta Jewellers, worth ₹6.6 million, and Zambian stone gold border earrings from Goenka Jewellers, worth ₹6.9 million, were missing. After returning to Mumbai, Savleen Singh lodged a complaint at Sahar police station. The police have registered a case of theft and started investigation.

Makeup artist filed a complaint

Police said that an FIR has been registered on the basis of the complaint of makeup artist Savleen Singh. Complainant Rhea Kapoor was on her way to New York with her team when her rented earrings, worth ₹1.35 crore, were stolen. The entire timeline from airport to hotel is being investigated. Mumbai Police is now trying to find out whether the theft took place at the Mumbai airport, in the flight or after reaching New York.
