NEET UG Exam 2026: NEET UG exam today afternoon, candidates should know every information including dress code and prohibited things here.


New Delhi. National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to conduct NEET UG 2026 exam this afternoon. This examination was earlier held on May 3, but after the issue of paper leak came to light, it was decided to cancel it and conduct NEET UG 2026 afresh. NEET UG exam will be conducted from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. More than 22 lakh candidates have registered for this. This time NTA has decided to give additional 15 minutes in NEET UG exam. Earlier the NEET UG exam paper had to be solved in 180 minutes.

NTA has decided that disabled candidates will be able to take the NEET UG 2026 exam till 6.20 pm. Apart from 551 cities of the country, the examination is being conducted in 14 foreign cities. NTA has deployed more than 2 lakh employees for NEET UG exam. These include City Co-ordinators, Observers, Center Superintendents and Invigilators. CCTV cameras have been installed at the examination centres. Through which the entire examination arrangements can be seen live in the central control room. There will be biometric authentication to prevent someone else from taking the exam in place of the candidate. However, if biometric verification is not possible due to technical glitches, the candidate will still be allowed to take the examination. They will have to give an undertaking.

For NEET exam, candidates will have to reach their examination center between 11 am to 1.30 pm. No one will be allowed entry after 1.30 pm. Candidates should carry admit card, one photo ID and two passport size photographs with them. NTA has told the candidates appearing for NEET UG exam that if they are coming wearing full sleeve religious clothes or woolen clothes, then they will have to reach the examination center much earlier for checking. Students appearing for NEET UG exam cannot carry mobile phones, smart watches, Bluetooth devices, calculators, purses and wallets, any kind of jewelery or food items.
