Market cap of top 10 companies increased by more than Rs 2.15 lakh crore

New Delhi. Due to buying and selling in the domestic stock market during the last trading week, the market cap of nine companies included in the top 10 most valued companies of the country increased, while the market cap of one company declined.

The market cap of nine of these top ten companies increased by more than Rs 2.15 lakh crore after trading from Monday to Friday.

Among these, Bharti Airtel got the most benefit, while Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) got the second place in terms of increase in market cap.

On the other hand, the market cap of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), the remaining company included in the top 10 most valued companies, declined by more than Rs 12 thousand crore.

After this week’s trading, the market cap of Bharti Airtel, Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), Bajaj Finance, Reliance Industries, Larsen & Toubro, State Bank of India (SBI), HDFC Bank, Hindustan Unilever and ICICI Bank increased by Rs 2,15,142.36 crore.

On the other hand, the market cap of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) declined by Rs 12,699.49 crore. After the trading between Monday and Friday, the market cap of Bharti Airtel increased by Rs 52,432.67 crore to reach Rs 11,62,963.30 crore.

Similarly, the market cap of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) jumped by Rs 51,675.23 crore to reach the level of Rs 5,56,726.30 crore.

Apart from this, the market cap of Bajaj Finance strengthened by Rs 26,553.71 crore to reach Rs 5,98,501.25 crore, the market cap of Reliance Industries increased by Rs 22,464.02 crore to reach Rs 17,71,882.96 crore.

The market cap of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) declined by Rs 12,699.49 crore to reach Rs 7,69,350.13 crore.

Apart from these companies, the market cap of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) increased by Rs 21,929.12 crore to reach Rs 5,79,126.95 crore in last week’s trading.

Similarly, the market cap of State Bank of India (SBI) increased by Rs 16,753.57 crore to reach the level of Rs 9,55,415.07 crore.

Apart from this, the market cap of HDFC Bank increased by Rs 11,948.72 crore to Rs 12,01,263.14 crore, the market cap of Hindustan Unilever increased by Rs 6,661.10 crore to Rs 5,15,946.75 crore and the market cap of ICICI Bank increased by Rs 4,724.22 crore to Rs 9,66,021.99. In terms of market cap, Reliance Industries was the company with the highest market cap in the country with a market capitalization (market cap) of Rs 17,71,882.96 crore.

This is followed by HDFC Bank (total market cap Rs 12,01,263.14 crore), Bharti Airtel (total market cap Rs 11,62,963.30 crore), ICICI Bank (total market cap Rs 9,66,021.99 crore), State Bank of India (total market cap Rs 9,55,415.07 crore).

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) (Total market cap Rs 7,69,350.13 crore), Bajaj Finance (Total market cap Rs 5,98,501.25 crore), Larsen & Toubro (Total market cap Rs 5,79,126.95 crore).

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) (total market cap Rs 5,56,726.30 crore) and Hindustan Unilever (total market cap Rs 5,15,946.75 crore) remained at the second to tenth positions in the list of top 10 most valuable companies.
