‘Akhilesh never went to the temple…’, why did UP Minister Bhupendra Singh make such a big attack on SP?

In this series, senior BJP leader and state government minister Chaudhary Bhupendra Singh has made a scathing attack on Samajwadi Party (SP) and its chief Akhilesh Yadav. Taking aim at the SP President, Bhupendra Singh said that Akhilesh Yadav never went to visit any temple. Accusing SP’s politics of appeasement, he said that the public is no longer going to be misled by them.
In fact, in view of the upcoming elections, BJP has opened a front against the opposition. Bhupendra Singh said that Akhilesh Yadav and his party have always done vote bank politics of a particular class and insulted the faith of the majority society. After his statement, the debate on temple and appeasement politics has once again erupted in the state.
Chaudhary Bhupendra Singh’s attack on SP and allegations of appeasement
This statement of veteran BJP leader Bhupendra Singh has come at a time when all the parties are busy strengthening their hold on the ground. While talking to the media, he said that the Samajwadi Party only promoted appeasement during its rule. He sarcastically said that the leaders who never went to worship God, are trying to show themselves as very orthodox as soon as the elections come.
In fact, the BJP leader was directly pointing towards Akhilesh Yadav’s stance for which the saffron camp often attacks him. Bhupendra Singh claimed that the public knows very well who has brought development in the state and who has just made promises.
