Rain may be seen in Northeast India, East India, West Coast and Southern Peninsular regions. At some places, strong winds will also blow along with thunder and lightning. However, there has been warning of heavy rain at many places. People have been asked to be cautious regarding this.
The weather is expected to be most active in Northeast India. Rainfall will continue in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. There may be isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall in Assam and Meghalaya till June 22, while there is a possibility of heavy rain in Arunachal Pradesh also. Heavy rainfall activities may also continue over Sikkim and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, causing landslides and waterlogging.
At the same time, the weather will change in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar also. There will be rain and thunder at many places, which can provide relief to people from the heat. Actually, people in Uttar Pradesh are very troubled by the scorching heat. People will get relief after the rain.
