Huge fall in gold and silver prices: Gold became cheaper by ₹ 3,000 in a week, silver fell by ₹ 10,000
The biggest news of this time is coming out from the Indian bullion market. There has been a huge decline in the prices of gold and silver on a weekly basis, which has brought great relief to jewelery buyers and investors. In just one week, the price of 24 carat gold has seen a huge decline of up to ₹3,000 per 10 grams, while silver prices have also come down to ₹10,000 per kg. After this decline, the prices of precious metals have reached very attractive levels in different cities of the country.
Gold prices fell under the pressure of strong dollar, came down from record level
The main reason behind this big decline in global and domestic markets are international factors. According to market experts, due to the continuous strengthening of the US dollar globally, heavy pressure is being seen on precious metals. The Dollar Index has currently reached its new highest level in one year, due to which spot gold in the international market is slipping and is trading at the level of $ 4,148.45 per ounce.
The direct impact of this global stir was also seen in the bullion market of Delhi on Friday, June 19, where the price of gold of 99.9 percent purity fell by a huge ₹ 2,840 in a single day and closed at ₹ 1,50,600 per 10 grams. This weakness in prices continues till today i.e. Sunday morning, June 21.
