The matter escalated when a user made an objectionable comment on his post and raised questions about his religion and identity. On this, Javed Akhtar also gave a sharp reply to the troll.
In his reply he clearly said that he does not believe in any religion and is an atheist. He also said that his “community” is not a religious identity but all Indians, which also includes the trolling user.
Javed Akhtar explained to the trolls that they should not decide their identity on the basis of religion. His answer has become increasingly viral on social media and people are appreciating his clear and strict stance.
