NEET UG re-exam 2026 completed: Now 23 lakh students are waiting for the result
New Delhi: The re-exam of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate i.e. NEET UG 2026 ended peacefully on Sunday. About 23 lakh candidates appeared in this examination which was held on June 21 from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. Along with India, the examination was also conducted at a foreign center in Riyadh.
The level of paper was moderate, Physics was the toughest.
As per the students’ feedback, the difficulty level of the paper was moderate. Physics section seemed the most difficult, while Chemistry and Biology were relatively easy.
Many students said that time management was important this time as NTA had given extra 15 minutes. As soon as the examination is over, coaching institutes and education portals release unofficial answer keys, through which students can estimate their probable score.
How to check score with unofficial answer key
If you want to check your score, you can download Re-NEET unofficial answer key PDF by visiting different education sites. After opening the PDF, match your answers and calculate the score according to negative marking. This is just an estimate, the final score will be decided on the basis of official answer key only.
NTA will release official answer key by 28th June
National Testing Agency is likely to release the official answer key by June 28. Candidates will be able to download it by visiting neet.nta.nic.in. If you have any objection to any question or answer, you can register your objection by logging in. For this, application number and date of birth will be required.
While filing the objection, supporting documents will have to be uploaded along with the correct answer and the prescribed fee will have to be deposited. NTA will prepare the final answer key and result after examining all the objections.
Result will come by the end of July
The result of NEET UG re-exam 2026 is expected to be declared by the last week of July. Once the results are released, students will be able to download the scorecard on the official website. After this the process of medical counseling will start, which includes both All India Quota and State Quota.
This time, to maintain the transparency of the examination, NTA had installed more than 1.38 lakh CCTV cameras and more than 51 thousand signal jammers. For more information and updates, candidates are advised to rely only on neet.nta.nic.in.
