The upcoming Samsung Galaxy M47 5G will have a pill-shaped rear camera module that resembles the recently launched Samsung Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 and will also have a flat rear panel. Recently, this M-series phone was seen on a benchmarking platform, in which the octa-core Snapdragon chipset has been used.

A special microsite for Samsung Galaxy M47 5G has gone live in India, on which the tagline “Next Level Monster” has been given. This has confirmed that this Galaxy M series smartphone will be launched in the country soon. Apart from this, a glimpse of the phone’s design has also been shown on the microsite, in which a flat rear panel and a pill-shaped camera module are visible on the top left. The camera island of Samsung Galaxy M47 5G has a triple-camera system with LED flash.

The power button and volume rocker in the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M47 5G will be on the right side. It has been confirmed that this handset will be available for sale in the country through Amazon. The new Galaxy M47 5G will be available at least in red color option.

Samsung has not yet revealed the marketing name of this red colored model. Also, no information has been given about its exact launch date, price, main specifications or features. This information may be revealed in the coming days.

This news has come when Samsung Galaxy M47 5G (model number SM-476B) was spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. This handset is powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, which has four efficiency cores (with a peak clock speed of 1.8GHz) and four performance cores (with a peak clock speed of 2.4GHz).

Samsung Galaxy M47 5G is expected to launch with Adreno 710 GPU and at least 8GB of RAM. According to reports, this handset will come with Android 16. In terms of GPU performance, Samsung Galaxy M47 5G scored 2,256 points in the Geekbench AI OpenCL test. as stated before. This smartphone will replace Samsung Galaxy M44 which was launched in 2023.
