Only hooliganism in SP’s agenda… CM Yogi’s sharp attack on opposition in Firozabad
Knews Desk- While addressing a public meeting in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a strong attack on the Samajwadi Party (SP). CM Yogi said that the agenda of SP was not development but to divide the society, promote hooliganism and spread anarchy in the state.
Referring to the situation before 2017, CM Yogi said that at that time there was an environment of “One District, One Mafia” in Uttar Pradesh, whereas today’s government is working on development schemes like “One District, One Medical College” and “One District, One Cuisine”.
He said that earlier a marked mafia used to be active in every district, which used to capture the lands of the poor, make illegal recovery from traders and maintain an atmosphere of fear in the entire system. Yogi claimed that now the era of mafia and hooliganism is over in the state and Uttar Pradesh has become a “mafia-free and riot-free” state.
CM Yogi said in his speech that earlier attempts were made to stop festivals and religious events also. He alleged that during the Samajwadi Party rule, there were efforts to stop or obstruct events like Ram Navami, Shri Krishna Janmashtami and Kanwar Yatra.
He said that under the previous governments there was lack of electricity, development and basic facilities and people were forced to live in darkness. Yogi said that “some people found their work easier in darkness” and that is why development was stopped. Referring to the schemes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister said that recently an amount of more than Rs 4,300 crore has been directly transferred to the accounts of farmers of Uttar Pradesh under Kisan Samman Nidhi. He described this as an example of the transparent policy of the double engine government.
Yogi Adityanath said that today the benefits of government schemes are reaching the people directly without any middleman and without visiting any office. He said that when intentions are clear, policies automatically make their way. At the end of his address, CM Yogi said that today both development and security are going hand in hand in Uttar Pradesh and the government’s aim is to make the state completely “safe, developed and self-reliant”.
