Rohit Shetty wraps ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 15’ shoot in South Africa
Filmmaker and television host Rohit Shetty has completed filming for the latest season of the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi in Cape Town, South Africa.
The 52-year-old shared the update on social media after weeks of shooting with celebrity contestants for the stunt-based programme. The new season is expected to premiere in July.
Posting a picture of himself, Shetty described the demanding nature of the production and the effort required from both contestants and crew.
“Hectic… tiring… physically challenging… But a fantastic schedule ends,” he wrote.
The Singham director also hinted that viewers can expect a different experience this season.

“I can proudly say to our viewers this is going to be a never seen before season of Khatron Ke Khiladi… signing off from Cape Town back to Mumbai… Action continues… #KhatrokKeKhiladi15.”
The upcoming season carries the theme ‘Darr Ka Naya Daur’ and is expected to feature a range of difficult and unpredictable stunts.
This year’s contestant line-up includes first-time participants such as Gaurav Khanna, Farrhana Bhatt and Avinash Mishra. They competed alongside former contestants including Rubina Dilaik, Karan Wahi and Jasmin Bhasin.
Although filming has ended, speculation about the outcome of the competition continues.
Media reports suggest the title race may have narrowed to Karan Wahi, Avinash Mishra and Farrhana Bhatt, though no official confirmation has been provided by the makers.
With production in South Africa now complete, the show will move into post-production before its television debut.
According to reports, Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 could premiere during the first weekend of July 2026 and may take over a prime-time slot.
