Big coup in TMC…Mamata Banerjee removed from the post of president, rebel group also suspends Abhishek Banerjee

Mamata Banerjee Removed As TMC Chief: There has been a big explosion in the politics of West Bengal. In a meeting in Newtown this evening, the rebel faction of Trinamool Congress has removed former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee as the party president. Arup Roy has been appointed as the new chairperson in place of Mamta. Arup Roy is MLA from Howrah Central. Apart from this, the faction led by Ritabrata Banerjee has also removed Mamata’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee from the post of general secretary of the party.

Held a special session of Trinamool Congress. In this meeting, many TMC leaders, including rebel MLA and opposition leader Ritabrata Banerjee, said that former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has been removed from the post of party president. Also a 30-member committee was formed.
