Why were smartphone prices increased?

According to market researchers and tech experts, the price of smartphones has been increased due to the significant increase in the prices of essential components of smartphones globally, especially high-speed storage and RAM. Apart from this, due to the increasing trend of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, the demand for these chipsets and memory modules has increased a lot, due to which it is becoming difficult for the manufacturers to handle the manufacturing cost (Bill of Materials). All companies are now passing the burden of these rising costs on to their consumers. The same retailers believe that other brands may also become expensive in the next few days.
