Where did the money for the palatial offices of BJP-RSS come from? Direct attack from Congress spokesperson
The political temperature has once again risen over the construction of Ayodhya Ram temple and the money for offerings. Congress has raised very serious questions on the role of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed by the Uttar Pradesh government. Congress’s direct allegation is that SIT is actually working as an administrative shield to protect big criminals. During a very harsh press conference held at Rajiv Bhawan, Dehradun, Congress national spokesperson Alok Sharma directly put Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the dock on this issue.
In fact, the Congress spokesperson sarcastically said that when the Prime Minister himself takes credit for every small and big work of the country, then the entire moral responsibility for this alleged ‘robbery’ in the offerings of Ram Temple also rests with him. He alleged that the BJP, which used the name of Lord Shri Ram to reach the top of power, is today openly patronizing corruption by playing with the same public faith.
Sensational claim of 40 percent commission in construction of Ram temple
Alok Sharma made a big and sensational claim in front of the media. He said that an engineer who was monitoring the construction work of Ram Temple had made serious allegations of 40 percent commission embezzlement. But see the sting of the system that those who tried to raise their voice for transparency in construction work and money transactions were shown the way out of the trust. Congress reminded that earlier too, when representatives of this trust were accused of embezzlement of crores of rupees in the purchase and sale of land, investigation committees were hastily formed, but their reports have not been made public till date.
Questions raised on luxurious offices of BJP-RSS
During the press conference, Congress also targeted the nationwide organizational structure of BJP and RSS. Regarding funding of the luxurious, palatial offices of BJP and RSS being set up in every corner of the country, the Congress spokesperson directly pointed the finger at the financial source. He raised a question from the open forum whether the money of sacred offerings from India and abroad in the name of Ram Mandir is being misused in choosing the walls of these grand offices? He said that the credibility of Sanatan Dharma has not been harmed as much by external forces as it is by the internal corruption growing in the political corridors of BJP and Sangh.
Demand for immediate dissolution of Ram Mandir Trust
Considering the seriousness of the matter, the Congress Party has officially demanded that the existing Shri Ram Mandir Trust should be dissolved immediately without any delay. Along with this, complete audit details of all the current bank accounts related to the temple and CCTV footage of the premises should be kept in the public domain so that there can be milk of milk and water of water. Alok Sharma appealed to the general Sanatani community across the country to rise above political ideology and raise their voice against this alleged looting in the name of religion.
During this high-level press conference, along with state Congress chief spokesperson Garima Mehra Dasouni, former metropolitan president of Dehradun Lalchand Sharma was also present on the stage. Apart from them, Congress spokesperson Shishpal Singh Bisht, Manoj Saini and Devendra Singh also jointly termed the government’s silence on this issue as shameful.
