Yogi government’s announcement, these women of UP will get benefits
Lucknow. The Uttar Pradesh government has started preparations to take an important initiative in the interest of women. The aim of the government is to connect such women, who are facing social and economic problems, with government schemes. Especially a special scheme is being made to provide relief to women affected by serious situations like triple talaq and acid attack.
Under this initiative, preparations are being made to connect eligible women with facilities like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Chief Minister Awas Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana. The government’s goal is to provide safe housing and better health facilities to needy women.
Government is preparing list of beneficiaries
Following the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Women Welfare Department has started work in this direction. The department is collecting information about triple talaq victims, acid attack victims and destitute women. After the data is ready, the process of identifying eligible women and providing them benefits of government schemes on priority basis will be started.
Housing problem will be solved
The government plans to provide help to the affected women who do not have their own permanent houses through housing schemes. This will give them an opportunity to live a safe and respectable life. Many women affected by triple talaq face financial challenges, while acid attack victims require long-term treatment and care.
Benefits of health facilities
After incidents like acid attacks, women victims often require long treatment, surgery and rehabilitation. The government is working towards providing better medical facilities to such women by linking them with health schemes. Apart from this, preparations are also being made to provide benefits of health protection schemes to destitute women and their families.
