Don’t get fooled by social media reels, Hemkunt Sahib Yatra is absolutely safe; Devotees themselves told the ground reality

Dehradun. These days many things are floating on social media regarding the visit to Shri Hemkunt Sahib, the holy pilgrimage site of the Sikhs located in the high Himalayan region of Uttarakhand. But if you are also confused after seeing these news, then there is a news of great relief for you. In fact, the devotees returning after completing the yatra say that some people are spreading rumors about the yatra just to collect views and likes on social media. The ground reality is completely opposite. The Hemkunt Sahib Yatra is going on completely safely and smoothly due to the careful arrangements made by the administration and the Gurdwara Management Committee.

Devotee Sukhbir Kaur, who came from Punjab with her family for darshan, put an end to these rumors by sharing her experience. She told that she had left home with her family on June 19. On the way, many people scared him about the journey citing claims on social media and asked him to be cautious. But when she returned safely to Govindghat after having darshan on Tuesday, all the fear from her mind was gone. According to Sukhbir Kaur, during the entire journey she or her family did not face any kind of problem anywhere.

Getting full support from administration and local people

Devotees say that this time there is a lot of crowd on the Yatra route, but despite this the arrangements are perfect. From the local administration to the Gurudwara Management Committee, they are engaged in serving the pilgrims with full capacity. Adequate arrangements have been made for medical facilities, accommodation and food on the way. The most important thing is that local people are also helping the passengers openly on difficult routes. This is the reason why people returning after darshan are completely rejecting the claims going on on social media.

Trying to spoil the atmosphere for the sake of views!

Many other pilgrims who have completed the yatra have also released video statements narrating the ground reality. He says that some people are trying to spoil the environment by spreading misleading information just to increase the reach of their social media pages. Whereas the reality is that despite the huge crowd, the attitude of the police-administration is very cooperative. The pilgrims clearly said that instead of paying attention to the rumors on social media, people should come with full confidence and earn virtuous benefits by visiting Gurughar. As always, the Yatra is progressing in a peaceful and sacred atmosphere.

In fact, the weather and crowd on sensitive routes like Chardham Yatra and Hemkunt Sahib are often exaggerated on social media. In such a situation, Chamoli police and administration are also keeping a constant watch so that any kind of wrong information does not mislead the devotees. If you too are thinking of embarking on this holy journey, then you can make your plans without any fear.
