Alka Yagnik and Mammootty honored at Padma Award ceremony

Famous Bollywood singer Alka Yagnik and South superstar Mammootty were awarded the Padma Bhushan award, while actor R. Madhavan was awarded the Padma Shri award.

President Draupadi Murmu honored all these artists. Alka Yagnik and Mammootty’s happiness was evident at the ceremony. Both the actors looked emotional. Alka touched the feet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and greeted him with folded hands. This moment is spreading rapidly on social media.

Distribution of 65 Padma Awards by the President

According to official information, the President presented 65 Padma awards, which include two Padma Vibhushan, seven Padma Bhushan and 56 Padma Shri awards. Those honored include cricketer Rohit Sharma, singer Alka Yagnik, actor Mammootty, actor R. Madhavan and tennis legend Vijay Amritraj.
