Tata Cars: First glimpse of Tata Tigor facelift revealed, know the new design and features
Tata Cars: Tata Tigor, which has a strong presence in the compact sedan segment in the Indian market, may soon launch in a new avatar. According to media reports, Tata Motors is working on a facelift version of its popular sedan Tigor. Although no official announcement has been made by the company yet, recently surfaced patent images have given a glimpse of its possible design and features.
Work underway on Tata Tigor Facelift
According to reports, Tata Motors has filed a patent related to the design of the Tigor Facelift. Patent documents indicate that the company is preparing to make major changes to both the exterior and interior of the car.
Big changes can be seen in the exterior
The front design of the new Tigor Facelift can be completely redesigned. A sharper and slimmer front profile can be seen in it than before.
Apart from this, newly designed headlights, updated grille, new front bumper and refreshed fog lamps are likely to be provided. With these changes, the look of the car may appear more premium and modern than before.
New features can be found in the interior
Not only the exterior design, but many important updates can be seen in the cabin as well. According to reports, the car can be given a new dashboard layout, large touchscreen infotainment system and digital instrument cluster.
Apart from this, auto-fold ORVM, rear AC vents, 360-degree camera and many new connected features can also be included, which will further improve the premium experience of the car.
Less possibility of engine change
Talking about the powertrain, the 1.2-litre petrol engine of the existing model can be continued in the new Tigor Facelift. Along with this, the option of CNG variant is also expected to be available.
The 5-speed manual gearbox may be retained for transmission. However, closer to the launch, the company may also share information related to the automatic option.
When can it be launched?
At present, Tata Motors has not shared any official information regarding Tigor Facelift. But if media reports are to be believed, the company can launch this updated sedan in the Indian market in late 2026 or early 2027.
