Actor Ram Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor seem to have put old tensions between them to rest finally.
The two television names were recently seen together at the launch event of Lock Up: Sach Ya Sazaasparking fresh chatter among fans.
Videos from the gathering quickly made rounds online. The 52-year-old actor was seen warmly greeting Ekta, giving her a hug and sharing a light-hearted moment on stage.
The interaction caught attention because reports of a rift between the pair had been doing the rounds for quite some time.
Their reported disagreement had surfaced after Ram Kapoor spoke about an intimate sequence from Bad things look goodone of the most talked-about TV shows of its time.
His remarks led to discussions on social media, with many linking them to Ekta Kapoor.
Around the same period, a few social media posts shared by Ekta were widely interpreted as indirect comments aimed at certain actors. Though no names were mentioned, online speculation only grew stronger.
The situation became even more talked about when Ram’s wife Gautami Kapoor publicly supported him. However, neither side openly confirmed any serious fallout.
Despite the rumours, the Udaan actor has always acknowledged Ekta’s contribution to his journey in television. He has often said that some of his biggest career milestones came through projects backed by her.
Now, their public reunion comes just days before the launch of Lock Up: Sach Ya Sazaawhich will begin streaming on Netflix from June 27.
