Patna. Monsoon activity has started increasing in Bihar. According to the Meteorological Department, rainfall activities may intensify in many parts of the state in the coming days. Especially on June 25, there is a possibility of heavy rain in many districts of North Bihar. At the same time, the effects of heat and heat wave can still be seen in some southern districts.
According to meteorologists, due to the weather system forming in Bihar and surrounding areas, favorable conditions remain for rain. The moisture coming from the Bay of Bengal and the active trough line is affecting the weather of the state.
Chance of rain in these districts on June 25
The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert for many districts of Bihar on June 25. Especially in districts like Araria, Katihar, Kishanganj, Madhubani, Purnia, Supaul, there is a possibility of heavy rain at some places. Apart from this, rain activities can also be seen in many parts of North-East Bihar and South-East Bihar.
Warning of storm, lightning and strong wind
Along with rain, the Meteorological Department has also advised to be cautious regarding thunderstorms and strong winds. There is a possibility of wind speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour at many places in North Bihar. At some places in the southern areas, the wind speed can reach 50 to 60 kilometers per hour.
Rain will increase in the next few days
After June 26, rain activities are expected to increase further in North-East Bihar. There may be widespread rain in many districts of North Bihar on June 27 and 28. There is a possibility of very heavy rain in Purnia and Katihar on June 28.
