Ketan Agarwal Murder Case: Sia Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary confessed to the crime, revealed the secrets of Ketan’s murder in front of the police.

Pune: In the Ketan Agarwal Murder Case, murderer Siya Goyal and her boyfriend Chetan Chaudhary have confessed to their crime. During police interrogation, Chetan told that Siya Goyal was not ready to break the engagement and run away with him, because she was afraid of the disgrace of her family. After this, both of them together conspired to kill Ketan in Lohgarh. As per the plan, on June 18, Sia took her fiancé Ketan Agarwal to Lohgarh Fort, where he was pushed into a ditch.

How did the police become suspicious?

After Ketan’s murder, Siya Goyal had told her family that her foot had slipped while walking on the track. Later, when the police analyzed the CCTV footage found at the ticket counter of the fort, the direction of the investigation changed. Police spotted Chetan wearing a hoodie in the footage. Police noticed that Siya was also looking back at her lover Chetan. In another clip, it was seen that Sia suddenly looks back and at the same time Ketan, wearing a hoodie, suddenly sits down. Wearing a hoodie in the scorching heat and Siya’s mannerisms deepened the police’s suspicion. Then the police investigated and arrested Siya and Chetan. The court sent both of them to judicial custody.

Police asked questions to accused Chetan

When Ketan Agarwal’s father Vishal Agarwal came to know that his future daughter-in-law Sia had murdered his son, he started asking just one question, if she did not want to get married then she would have told. Why did you take life? If Siya had told him once, he would have broken the engagement. Vishal Aggarwal and Sia’s family knew each other for many decades. In custody, the police asked the same question to Sia and her lover Chetan Chaudhary. According to police sources, Chetan was asked why he decided to eliminate Ketan instead of running away?

What did Chetan tell the police?

Accused Chetan Chaudhary told the police that both of them were in a relationship for a long time. Meanwhile suddenly Siya Goyal’s marriage with Ketan Aggarwal was fixed. Both of them got engaged with great pomp. Chetan had proposed to Sia to run away from home, but she did not agree due to the fear of defaming her family. Then both of them decided to remove Chetan Chaudhary from the way.

The family did not suspect initially

Ketan and Sia often went out together and trekking was one of their favorite hobbies. In this sequence, both of them had gone on a visit to Lohagarh Fort, where this incident took place. After Ketan’s death, Sia also shared an emotional post on social media. He had expressed deep grief in his message, which initially did not raise any suspicion among the family and acquaintances. Everyone considered it an unfortunate accident.

Sister’s questions started revealing layers

According to the family, when Siya reached home after the funeral, Ketan’s sister asked her many questions regarding the incident. Some answers during the conversation created doubts in the minds of the family. After this the family demanded a thorough investigation of the matter from the police. Police started examining mobile data, call records and digital evidence. Based on the facts found during the investigation, the case turned from accident to murder. After this, Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary were taken into custody and interrogated.

Evidence will be presented in court

At present the police is collecting all the technical and circumstantial evidence related to the case. The investigating agencies are trying to find out how the alleged conspiracy was hatched and what was the entire plan to carry out the incident. The evidence presented in the court in the coming days will decide the further direction of this much debated case.
