Review meeting of Jagdalpur District Mineral Institute Trust Fund Governing Council held

Jagdalpur. District Mineral Foundation Trust Fund (DMFT) Governing Council cum Review meeting was held today on Wednesday in the Prerna Hall of the District Office. In the meeting, review of the progress of works sanctioned under DMFT head in the financial year 2025-26 and proposals for the next five years for 8 sectors under the new rules of DMFT head were discussed. Information about the status of approved works, completed and incomplete works, construction and implementing agency wise was presented to the committee.

In the meeting, MP Mahesh Kashyap said that the amount of DMFT item should be used in priority areas. He gave instructions to give priority to the construction of buildings of educational institutions, construction of Anganwadi centers and development of infrastructure in the flood affected areas of last year.

MLA Chitrakot Vinayak Goyal said that the benefits of the schemes of the Horticulture Department should be made available to the farmers producing oil palm in a better way, so that the farmers can get the maximum benefit of the schemes. Under this item, the construction of development works approved in previous years should be expedited.

In the meeting, Collector Akash Chhikara gave instructions to complete the construction works approved under DMFT item in a quality manner. He said that especially the Devguri construction work should be completed soon. District Panchayat President Mrs. Vedwati Kashyap, Vice President Baldev Mandavi, other committee members, Superintendent of Police Shalabh Sinha, Divisional Forest Officer Uttam Gupta, District Panchayat CEO Prateek Jain, DMFT Nodal Officer Rishikesh Tiwari and other officers were present in the meeting.

While reviewing various development works related to DMFT in the meeting, emphasis was laid on completing the works within the time limit and paying special attention to quality.
