In such situations, keyboard shortcuts are very useful to speed up work and save time. People often use the mouse repeatedly for small tasks, which takes a lot of time. While browsing the internet, often an important tab is accidentally closed. It may take time to find that website again. Pressing Ctrl+Shift+T immediately reopens the recently closed tab. If multiple tabs are closed, you can repeatedly press this shortcut to open them one by one. This feature is very useful for those who work on multiple tabs at the same time.

Often, while working, multiple applications, folders and browser tabs are open on the screen at the same time. In such a case, each window has to be minimized separately to get to the desktop. Instead, pressing Windows key + V immediately minimizes the open window and the user goes directly to the desktop. Pressing the same shortcut again returns all windows to their original state.

Clipboard History

Generally, Ctrl+C is used to copy text or image and Ctrl+V to paste. However, a normal clipboard stores only one copied item at a time. Pressing Windows key + V opens clipboard history. It features previously copied text and images, which can be reused as needed. This also reduces the hassle of copying the same information repeatedly.

Split screen feature

In offices and study places, we often have to look at information in one window and then work in another window. Frequent switching between windows can hinder the speed of work. For example, pressing Windows key + Left Arrow or Right Arrow snaps the opened window to one half of the screen. After that another window can be opened in the remaining area. This way, both windows appear simultaneously, making multitasking easier.

The sniping tool is useful

If you want to take a screenshot of a specific part instead of the entire screen, the shortcut Windows key + Shift + S is very useful. Pressing this shortcut activates Windows’ built-in snipping tool. The user can then select the desired part of the screen and take a screenshot. This screenshot is saved directly to the clipboard, which can then be pasted into a document, email or chat using Ctrl + V.
