New roads will be built in UP, widening will strengthen the connectivity network

News Desk. A major step has been taken to speed up industrial development in Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh. For better road connectivity in the district, the plan for construction of new roads and widening of old routes under the Industrial Logistics Scheme has been approved.

About Rs 15.40 crore will be spent on this project, which will strengthen the road network in Chandpur, Nagina and Najibabad areas. Industries, farmers and local traders are expected to benefit directly from this.

7.85 kilometer construction

Under the scheme, work will be done on a total of 7.85 km long roads in the district. Along with building new roads, some major roads will also be widened. The objective of the government is to create better access to industries, so that there can be ease in the movement of raw materials and delivery of finished products to the market.

Road in Chandpur will be four lane

In Chandpur area, the road leading to Bindal Paper Mills located in Changipur will be changed from single lane to four lane. There will be widening work of about 2.3 km road from Gohawar Chowk, Kemri Shafuddin Road to Chandpur Polytechnic. Approximately Rs 4.30 crore will be spent on this project. Considering the huge investment of paper industry in this area, road improvement is being considered very important.

Wood industry will get a boost in Nagina

Road construction has also been planned in Nagina area. About 5 kilometer long road will be built from Ramlila Tiraha to Benipur village on village Aurangzebpur-Mohammadabad-Harewali road. About Rs 10 crore will be spent on the construction of this road. Nagina’s wood art industry is also expected to benefit from better road facilities.

New connectivity road will be built in Najibabad

A new road will also be constructed in Sahanpura area of ​​Najibabad tehsil. About 0.55 kilometer road will be built from Gate No. 546 to Village Connectivity Road. The cost of this project is said to be around Rs 1.10 crore.

Investment worth Rs 663 crore will get support

The construction of these roads will also impact the industrial investment taking place in the district. According to officials, these projects will provide better infrastructure facilities to industrial investments worth about Rs 663.7 crore. With the strengthening of roads, access to factories will be easier and the operation of industries will speed up.
