Lewis Hamilton reveals secret neck injury after horror crash

British racer Lewis Hamilton has opened up about his painful injury battle he hid from F1 fans.

The famous racer admitted he couldn’t sleep for weeks after devastating neck injury after crashing heavily during Ferrari testing in January 2025.

The English racer shared that the ordeal left him unable to sleep and reliant on daily treatment to manage the pain.

As per F1 website GPblog and other media outlets including ESPNLewis said “I hit the wall very hard last year in testing.”

The seven-time Formula One champion said he dislodged a disc in his neck that pressed on a nerve following a crash in Barcelona.

He said “Knocked out one of the discs in my neck, which was into the nerve.”

The injury forced him to undergo chiropractic therapy, take painkillers and receive injections.

During this time, Lewis struggled through the opening stages of his Ferrari career.

Speaking of his upcoming races, he said ”struggled through the opening stages of his Ferrari career.”
