FIR against four people for getting two passports made, demand for action in court also
Siwan. Four passport holders of Mairwa police station area in the district have been accused of obtaining two passports each by giving false information and hiding facts in the passport verification process.
In this case, Mairwa police station incharge Rahul Kumar has filed an application in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Siwan, demanding legal action against the four. At the same time, on the statement of the police station incharge, an FIR has also been registered against the four accused in Mairwa police station.
According to the application, based on letters from the Regional Passport Office, Patna and the Superintendent of Police, Siwan, the investigation revealed several serious irregularities.
It is alleged that Raja Kumar Chauhan, resident of English Nonia Tola, changed his name to Raj Kumar Chauhan after the previously issued passport and applied for a police clearance certificate.
Similarly, Bhim Ram, a resident of Titra, is accused of obtaining a second passport by hiding the details of the passport obtained earlier. At the same time, Chhotka Manjha resident Jitendra Kushwaha and English resident Raja Alam have also been accused of hiding the information of the old passport and obtaining a second passport on the basis of different details.
Police Station Head Rahul Kumar has said in the application given to the court that such activities weaken the system of issuing passports and can also affect India’s reputation abroad.
Therefore, action has been demanded against the four accused under the Passport Act and other relevant legal provisions.
The police have registered an FIR in this matter and started investigation. Now further legal action will be taken on the basis of court instructions and police investigation.
