Allegation: Chetan Chaudhary instigated Siya to murder Ketan; find out what other revelations emerged during police interrogation

It was revealed during interrogation that Sia Goyal and Chetan Choudhary had a love affair.

Pune. The investigation into the murder of real estate businessman Ketan Aggarwal has revealed that co-accused Chetan Chaudhary had instigated Aggarwal’s fiancee Siya Goyal to murder him. A police officer made this claim on Friday.

The officer said, during interrogation of both the accused, it came to light that it was Choudhary who had instigated Goyal to kill Agarwal at Lohagarh Fort. He told that Goyal’s brother has also been interrogated in the case.

When asked about media reports which claimed that Sia did not like Aggarwal (25) because he wore a wig, the police source said it was true that Ketan wore a wig, but it cannot be said that this was the only reason for Sia’s dislike of him.

According to the police, Siya Goyal (20) and Chetan Choudhary (22), who were in a love affair, are accused of conspiring to murder Ketan Agarwal. It is alleged that on June 18, Agarwal was killed by pushing him off a rock at Lohagarh Fort in Pune district.

An officer of Pune Rural Police associated with the investigation had said that after reaching the rock spot, Goyal gave a pre-arranged signal to Choudhary, after which Choudhary pushed Aggarwal from behind, resulting in his death. Meanwhile, Sia Goyal’s mother claimed that her daughter was not ready to go to Lohagarh Fort on June 18, but Ketan Aggarwal and her mother convinced her to go there.

He said, there was a conversation on video call between Sia and Ketan on the evening of June 17. During this time Ketan requested Siya to go to Lohagarh. During the call, Ketan’s mother also talked to Sia and asked her to accompany him. Siya had told them that there was a family function the next day, so she did not want to go trekking and wanted to rest.

At the same time, Sia Goyal’s father denied the media reports which claimed that a palace in Udaipur was booked for the wedding and a chartered plane was arranged for the guests. He said, it is true that the marriage was to take place in Udaipur. The hotel rent was around Rs 81,000 per couple per day and we had booked 70 rooms. But our total expenditure on the wedding did not exceed Rs 3 crore.
