Barriers are being created to prevent even medicine from reaching there. Mohammad Maskin, a resident of Muzaffarabad, said, “I looked everywhere for medicine. But I couldn’t find it anywhere. Even the big shops are closed.”

Pakistan government is holding elections in Occupied Kashmir on July 27. Fearing that the result of that election may go against the government, the army has taken the field with terrorist organizations. The civil society alliance ‘Joint Awami Action Committee’ (JAAC) has been banned. JAC recently called a strike in protest against this. There were several protest programs as well.
